She Blinded Me With Science - Thomas Dolby Larry's Favorite Links Wow. Probably the best sequencing job on the Net. Listen with headphones or you'll be sorry! 4/1/98
Airhead - Thomas Dolby KeyWest Productions The only other Dolby Midi I've ever found. Also a fine job. 5/27/98
New Song - Howard Jones A nice miscellaneous page. This file is available everywhere; must have something to do with being "released". A seamless sequence. 2/25/98
Things Can Only Get Better - Howard Jones I lost the info on where I found this one! It's being served from a stealth site from South Africa. Yum! As good as New Song, above. 5/27/98
Life In One Day - Howard Jones Rudely linked to from a really great fan page. A sparse but enjoyable rendition. 5/27/98
No One Is To Blame - Howard Jones From Key West, one of the powerhouses of midi files A little slow, but a brave effort nonetheless. 5/27/98
Here Comes The Rain Again - Eurithmics Landru's top 100 midi links . Currently unreachable. Looks like Landru forgot to pay his ISP. The midis are still being served, however... Pretty true to the original. 4/1/98
Who's That Girl - Eurithmics From The Most Suckin' Midi Page. Lots of neat stuff, I recommend a stroll through his collection. A little rough; maybe a better version soon. 5/27/98
Money For Nothing - Dire Straights From The Most Suckin' Midi Page. Annoying countoff click but very true to the original. 5/27/98
Safety Dance - Men Without Hats Nice Who, a GREAT source of 80's midis True to the original, a little lame 4/1/98
Major Tom - Peter Shilling Nice Who A 90's dance mix of the original, but astonishingly good in its own right. 4/1/98

"80 Something" Midi Programs

Constructed when I have the time out of my favorite 80's midis downloaded from the Web, these long-playing files are 30 minutes or more of music inspired by the legendary Boston University radio program hosted by Cora, and by the god-like David Barnes, who as near as I can tell invented the album-length midi. Get 'em before we are served notice! All the orginal artists are credited, as well as the sequencers of the midi files used, where that information was available. The midi files are very big, but they've been compressed into .zip files that are very reasonable to download. . If you have any problems downloading, unpacking, or playing these files, I want to know. Click this link to e-mail me. -- Charles.
