The Flight of the Phoenix :)
James Stewart plays his
most ignoble role ever:
embittered pilot.
It's
a Wonderful Life in 30 seconds with bunnies
"First of all I love Looney Labs. I was told about their
games by a friend and thought they sounded really kewl. So I
bought Chrononauts and fell in love. So now I have started falling
in love with all of their games. I tell everyone who will listen
about the games. I love LL games for their base simplicity and
mind challenging strategy. I am always looking for an opportunity
to play these great games." -- Aaron

It's Christmas Already?!? |
|
Unlike
the Grinch, I would never hope to keep Christmas from coming...
but I do have to say there are years when I wish I could slow
the holiday's arrival just a bit. This is one of those years.
There's just too much still to be done! That said, the various
components that make up this
year's universal gift have all arrived, and they're beautiful,
plus the other gifts we're making or buying are pretty well in
hand, so I guess I shouldn't complain.
We've even gotten our tree
decorated! As shown here, this year's theme is Let There Be Lights.
Unlike last year's (rather lame) theme of Just Lights, this year's
all-lights tree features basic lights, garlands made of lighted
orbs, and lots of small ornaments in the shape of xmas tree lights.
At the top we hung an large green light bulb ornament, the perfect
crown. It looks great!

There's a lot of other stuff going on which I could talk
about if I had more time, but I have to go shopping. So Merry
Christmas, Happy New Year, Joyous Fesitvus, and a Wonderful Whatever-Else
You Celebrate! Here's wishing all the best to all of you for
2005 and beyond, from all of us here at Looney
Labs! |
Note: We make a point of relaxing during
the week between Christmas and New Year's (a time we like to
call National
Play Week) and in view of this, there will be no update of
this site next week. |

"Now it's easy to stay up. I can go a day
and a half without sleep as long as I keep my mind active. Sleep
becomes annoying once you realize how much you can accomplish." -- Tony Warren, a late-night worker profiled in "Sleep
Is For Sissies," by Walter Kirn, TIME magazine, December
20, 2004 |

"It's hard to find much wrong with a drug
that can battle fatigue and improve creativity and could even
help prevent Parkinson's disease and diabetes. It's also hard
to find much right with a drug that elevates blood pressure,
aggravates stress, causes insomnia and leads to addiction. When
both drugs are the same thing, it's hard to know what to think." -- Jeffery Kluger, "The Buzz on Caffeine,"
TIME magazine, December 20, 2004 |

"There's huge, massive mother ships going
up to the Yukon. They've been filmed and are on video. They're
coming and going like taxis." -- Dan Aykroyd,
as quoted in The Week magazine, which describes him as being
"a firm believer" in UFOs |
