Super Nova
Introduction
The Tlisk battleship dropped out of hyperspace near Ko'ol, poised to attack
its orbital defenses. Seconds later, the Tlisk envoy ship with its fighter
escort fell into normal space alongside. Caught by surprise, the Koolian
defense fleet had no time to veer off. The warp cannons on the battleship
flashed and the Koolian ships became an expanding cloud of debris. The ships
moved in on the planet itself....
Prior to the Nova Wars, the races of the galaxy were relatively evenly
matched. Then the Tlisk were discovered.....
Super Nova is a game of intergalactic expansion and conquest. Players start
from their home worlds, discover new planets, and compete for control of
other planets. Power is wielded militarily, diplomatically, and
economically, with an occasional natural disaster thrown in. To win, you
must create the empire that supports the most population.
A collectable card game for two or more players, Super Nova uses a single
shared deck of cards. Typically, cards are sold in packs of 18 cards each.
Each pack has a random mixture of common, uncommon, and rare cards.
For two to four players, we recommend that you have at least six packs, for a
total of 108 cards. If you have more than four players, or you just want to
spice up the game, use more cards. There is no official minimum or maximum
number of cards in a Super Nova deck, although having at least 25 cards per
player makes the game more fun.
